Accessible at http://anuwald.science/afms, it is the first national-scale, pre-operational fuel and soil moisture content and flammability monitoring system in Australia, delivering accurate spatial information in near-real time. 

Hazard Note 88 presents the research behind the Australian Flammability Monitoring System, from the Australian National University. Researchers investigated different methods of mapping flammability and worked with end-users to ensure that the AFMS provided a comprehensive and accurate characterisation of flammability.
