Dr John Bates
Dr John Bates is Research Director of the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC. Prior to joining the CRC, John was the Director of the Australian Institute of Disaster Resilience, and has had an extensive career in business development and research utilisation in academic organisations. John is an active SES volunteer.
