UN role reaps reward

Prof Kevin Ronan from CQUniversity has been awarded the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC 2015 Outstanding Achievement Award.

The award is in recognition of research leadership to advance the international standing of the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC, with Prof Ronan’s project work and his work on the United Nations Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.

Prof Ronan accepted his award from Dr Richard Thornton, CEO of the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC, at the Bushfire & Natural Hazards CRC and AFAC annual conference in Adelaide last week.
