6th International Fire Behaviour and Fuels Conference

The International Association of Wildland Fire is hosting the 6th International Fire Behaviour and Fuels Conference, with the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC as the lead partner.

Fitting in with the international theme the conference will be held concurrently in Albuquerque, Marseille and Sydney, with some joint sessions on the program. This IAWF conference occurs every three years, with this year’s theme exploring Fuels of Today – Fire Behaviour of Tomorrow from Monday 29 April to Friday 3 May 2019.

The 2016 Fire Behaviour and Fuels conference, also partnered with the CRC, was held in Melbourne and in Portland, Oregon.

The conference website will be launched in the coming month, with details on the call for speakers, registrations and sponsorship and exhibition opportunities.
