This video series has been created for anyone in the emergency management sector who is interested in learning how to apply economic analyses to the management of natural hazards.
In this series taught by Dr Veronique Florec (University of Western Australia), you will learn about the core economic concepts and models that are relevant to the mitigation of natural hazards. The course starts with the simplest concepts and will progressively introduce different economic principles. Each video builds on the knowledge acquired in the previous ones.
