About Flinders University

Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. The University has a Disaster Research Centre (FUDRC), established in 2009, which is a leader in disaster and emergency research in the region.

The Disaster Research Centre’s vision is to become a leader for disaster, emergency and mass gathering research at a state, national and international level. It has built an active network across different sectors, including higher education, the three tiers of government, non government organisations, the Innovative Research Universities (IRU) Network, with important international and national links.
