Based in Sydney, Catherine is a leader in the preparation of policy and strategy relating to natural hazards. Catherine has advocated for a more strategic approach to bushfire assessment, incorporating risk and adaptation into settlement planning. Catherine strives to improve planning for bushfire risk and is passionate about empowering the community and industry professionals to work towards a more resilient future. 

Student project

This research will determine the different options which exist for providing a compliance/enforcement program to address a significant gap in bushfire protection.
