Northern Australia Fire Managers Forum 2016

Fire Managers from across the north of Australia discussed topics of current interest to the region at the Northern Australia Fire Management forum in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, on Monday 20 June and Tuesday 21 June 2016.
In a departure from the format of previous NAFM meetings, this forum commenced with a field trip on the Monday afternoon (20 June). The field trip concluded with a barbeque.
The second day (Tuesday 21 June) was at the DoubleTree Hilton in Alice Springs, concluding with a group dinner nearby.

An outcome of the meeting was the annual Bushfire Seasonal Outlook for northern Australia - the Outlook will be publically distributed as a Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC Hazard Note.
The NAFM 2016 forum was hosted by Bushfires NT, with the support of the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC.
