The International Association of Wildland Fire hosted the 6th International Fire Behaviour and Fuels Conference from Monday 29 April to Friday 3 May 2019,concurrently in Albuquerque, United States; Marseille, France; and Sydney, Australia. The Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC was the lead partner of all three conferences, and presented the Sydney conference in partnership with sponsorship from New South Wales Rural Fire Service and the Bureau of Meteorology.

Workshop 1: Practical Application of Fire and Fuels Research in Prescribed Burning, a research forum of the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC presented with AIDR's Centre of Excellence for Prescribed Burning
