More projects have begun to actively communicate their work to a broader audience with a University of Adelaide based team starting up a blog.
Einstein A Go-Go, a weekly science radio show, has featured new Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC research over the last two weeks.

Happy first birthday to us! That’s what we all will be saying on 1 July. The date also marks the end of the Bushfire CRC.

Support for PhD students has been extended to include a wider range of new researchers closely aligned to the main research program of the CRC.
The Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC has made a submission to the Productivity Commission's Inquiry into Natural Disaster Funding Arrangements.

North Australia Fire Managers Forum 2014 - Broome
Fire Managers from across the north of Australia discussed topics of current interest to the region at the North Australian Fire Management Forum in Broome from 8-9 July 2014.
Chairman Dr Laurie Hammond spoke at the Emergency Management Conference (EMC), the annual conference presented by the Emergency Services Foundation, 1-2 July 2014.
